Relationships of Note: Kesia Alfonse (Murderer)
History: Carlos Maza has a brief, but extremely important, appearance in the Tempest Wolves story "Night Life (a Kesia Alfonse Side Story)"; the impact of which will be felt throughout the Tempest Wolves stories.
Little is known about Carlos, save that he was a self-made billionaire with a weakness for highspeed (and illegal) street bike races. In Night Life, recent Beginhill-15 graduate Kesia Alfonse is hired by Mac-15 Police Detective Tommy Moreno to participate in an illegal street race known as the Corsa di Tuono (or Thunder Race) -- her true goal being to plant a bug on Carlos Maza, a suspected white collar criminal.
During the race, Carlos and Kesia are cut-off from the course and attacked by unknown, but well financed, street thugs. The two opponents build a common bond in their need to escape, which they eventually do, but the "bug" Kesia plants on Carlos has unexpected and fatal results.
The ashen remains of Carlos Maza were recovered and successfully identified. The distribution of his wealth and holdings has not been publically revealed.
