History:
- In the disastrous wake of Space War One, a fragile few organizations survived the Zentraedi Onslaught. One such organization was the MegaCorp known as “Vensari Industries” (or “VI”), an Italian-based conglomerate specializing in everything from toilet tissue to reaction weaponry.
- Following the crash of ASS-1 on Macross Island, VI shifted their focus from rebuilding after the GCW and instead towards their ensured survival. Many labeled the organization as paranoid, but they knew that ship was only the first. Data was stored and buried in both the earth and moon, system redundancies were designed for system redundancies, and bunkers that made NORAD look like a beach shanty were constructed. Their paranoia had paid off.
- Following that global catastrophe, Vensari Industries found themselves the last remaining Earth-born company well enough to continue operations. They quickly initiated salvage ops and took control of the fragmented remains of numerous other corporations whose command structure did not survive the Zentraedi Conflict.
- Along with the Macross Consortium (which survived the ordeal aboard the SDF-1) Vensari Industries began intense efforts to revitalize the Earth and repopulate the human species. The Macross and Vensari industrial giants worked in concert synergy to accomplish these common goals.
- Later, V.I. left Earth and moved their opportations to a newly discovered star system they dubbed, fittingly enough, The Vensari System. They colonized the planets, moved their shipyards to The Cauldron, and established the Vensari Stellar Government.
- In 2042 Arturo Vensari II succeeds his father as Chairman of Vensari Industries and head of the Vensari Government.
- V.I. plays a vital role to the Tempest Wolves campaign and is featured in their opening thread "Last Voyage of the Vensari Star".
