Those however, were famous last words... on Friday morning, I slipped on some water on the floor at work and fell, tearing the ligaments on both sides of my ankles and cracking my cell phone's screen.
NOT a happy bunny as I had to miss the Nickelback gig in London tonight and I had first row seats /goes to sulk in a corner!
My foot is better now but still swollen as an oversized grapefruit. Not a good way to start the weekend, let me tell you
Ack... sorry to hear that. Especially the cellphone bit, since I know how much you much you like that thing. =/
...maybe it's a subtle hint from the Powers That Be to tell you that it's time to get yourself an iPhone? ;D
Anyways, I hope your foot gets better soon... and that there's no more puddles of watery doom around within the near future. Otherwise, I might have to FedEx you a couple of sturdy work boots to wear while at the office! =P
I don't think that's a good way to end a weekend either. That sucks!

Just a quick heads-up. I'm ridiculously busy at the time, hence the lack of posts on my part after frange updated Izzie's thread. If all goes well, life will lapse back to its regular motions by November the 5th or so.

As some of you might have noticed, my posting has been spotty as of late. I apologize for that, but I've been a little pressed for time lately due to my moving into a new apartment (no more roommates for me, yay!).
Anyways, things should be back to normal by Monday or so. ^^

After the first weekend living on my own, I must say that I love it! ^^ Sure, there are some disadvantages (for instance, I must purchase some furniture for the dining room ASAP as most of my guests were forced to use empty paint buckets as stools back on Saturday night XD) but the benefits greatly outweigh the hassles.
Writing-wise, I'm working on drafts for both Izzie and Kathleen's posts. I'm hoping to have them on the boards later today.

I just realized that I'll be needing to make a quick stop at Walmart before Friday. The cleaning lady won't be able to do any ironing without an actual iron (which I currently don't have) and that padded board-thingie too! ^^;;
Private space, hired help, living high on the hog, huh?

As some of you have definitely noticed, I've hit a minor speed bump in regards to posting and I'd like to apologize for that. In my defense, it should be said that I've been righteously busy at work with a project that's rather unusual for me to handle. ^^;;
I'd like to state for the record however, that all three missing posts are in the draft stage, so I'll have them up by tomorrow afternoon, tops.
That works for me. I've been under similar circumstances lately.
