Welcome to 2005, and yet another MRC theme.

Generation 12 started as a small idea. A few colors where put together, and well, now we have an entirely new look.

Just as a reminder, those of you wishing to use an older Generation Theme for the boards, you can click on the "EDIT YOUR PREFERENCES" link in the upper right hand corner, and choose a different theme.

Now, as for the theme of this theme... You'll just have to wait and see.

The Rally Cry is coming... Repent Now.

I haven't made a public complaint against the MRC in months but I'm going to break that record by saying Generation 12 has got to be one of the biggest internet message board EYE SORES that I have even seen.

If I plucked out my eyes the pain wouldn't go away. At least we can still edit our preferences.

And no you guys know why I keep the old generations up all the time.

Personally, I'm thinking of going back to generation9 myself, or even quickly make up a generation 13...

BUT, for the theme I'm going for, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Dropping the tone of the red by a few notches might work, the shade currently manages to be even more scarlet than your average Ferrari <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Something a little more Crimson perhaps <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">

Ummm . . . do you guys remember that scene at the end of Raider of the Lost Ark where the German guy looks into the Ark and gets his face and eyes melted out?

Ummm... yeah . . . <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif">

Man, after seeing Gen12 I remember thinking that my eyes haven't hurt this much since someone busted a beer glass over my face almost a year ago <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif"> Seriously, Gen 12 is okay in a well-lit room when you're expecting it, but catching you by surprise at night it hurts.

<slips into Gollum voice> Hsss! The lights hurts us, yes Precious, it does!!! <Gollum voice finishes>

Thanks for telling us how to switch screen colours through the Preferences screen, Lanji. Sorry, I'm sticking with Gen 7 for my preferences, but I'm grateful you posted the info on how to select the colour scheme we want.

it's very sharp and crisp.. i like that.

then again, it's also VERY bright and flashy... The homepage looks pretty good with it, probably because there isn't a lot of (small) text to read, but with the board theme, it makes your eyes twitch.

not bad, but i'm still on Generation 7. <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

God damn! You scared med big time Lanji. I thought my web browser went high-wire. <IMG SRC="/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
But in the other hand it was really a flashy main screen, even if the red color pierced my eyes.

I never even knew about all this generation business. I just checked and I'm still on Gen 7. Ooh it's all exciting, I get to make a change to the way the place looks.

*Goes through them all and chooses "original"*
Nice colours.
