Destroid Pilot O.C.C. (Space War One Era)

The Destroids were among some of the first Anti-giant warfare weapons created. These walking artillery piece/Tanks were meant to defeat the enemy with sheer firepower alone. With the exception of the Spartan, they were not meant for speed or close combat. To be effect against the faster Zentraedi they had to be used properly in combat. Destroids on the Macross were often used as extra defensive firepower from Zentraedi attack.


Uniform:

These soldiers wore a standard Destroid Pilot’s helmet with the standard Destroid Pilot’s suit. Colors varied. At least two are known, a brown with blue and red trim and a white with blue and light blue trim. Monster crews wore a modified helmet and uniform.


Pre-requisite Requirements

I.Q. 7 and P.P. 9 or higher were preferred.


Additional Requirements:

This O.C.C was open to both Enlisted and Officers. Enlisted soldiers after training would receive a promotion to Sergeant (E-4) and assigned to a Squad. Officers would be commission as a Second Lieutenant and assigned their own Platoon. To enlist in the UN the recruit needed a high school diploma and be 18 to 30 years old. During wartime teenagers as young as 16 years could enlist. This OCC was generally not open to women during the Space War One.

Wages, Rank & Experience

A UN Armed Forces Destroid Pilot member will make a starting wage of 2000 credits per month.
Destroid Pilots start at a rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
The Destroid Pilot uses the Destroid Pilot Experience Table for Experience Levels.
