General Soldier O.C.C. (Infantry/Marine – Space War One Era)

The General Soldier was the UN’s version the infantry soldier or shipboard marines. On the Macross these soldiers saw little face to face combat with the Zentraedi. Their typical duties on board the Macross involved driving Pilots to the Prometheus (or ARMD-01) during a scramble and helping the citizens of Macross after an attack.


Uniform:

These soldiers wore a standard blue jump suit with light blue beret and sunglasses (optional). The traditional olive green colored fatigues could be made available. The blue jump suit worked better when in civilian environment.


Pre-requisite Requirements

I.Q. 6 or high was preferred.


Additional Requirements:

This O.C.C is for Enlisted only. There were few if any specific requirements. Since this OCC was often reduced to supporting pilots it became the OCC that those who couldn’t qualify for anything else could get into. To enlist in the UN the recruit needed a high school diploma and be 18 to 30 years old. During wartime teenagers as young as 16 years could enlist. This OCC was generally not open to women during the Space War One.

Wages, Rank & Experience

A UN Armed Forces Destroid Pilot member will make a starting wage of 2000 credits per month.
Destroid Pilots start at a rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
The Destroid Pilot uses the Destroid Pilot Experience Table for Experience Levels.
