The Macross RPG Community, or the MRC as it is commonly known, is one of the Internet’s premier Message Board based RPG’s for the world of the Japanese Animation Macross Plus.
Many people across the world have been introduced to this timeless anime, and have yet to even know it. Based on the series Macross, which makes up the first third of the American re-make known as Robotech, it’s a universe that is based on love, music, transforming fighter aircraft, and humanity’s forced jump into space aboard the SDF-1 Macross.
The MRC plays hosts multiple campaigns, which can be seen on the Campaigns page, but all carry a theme in the Macross world.
The Community is a loosely ran group of GM’s who strive to give their members the best campaign they can. Using the popular phpBB system (a flat style, category based board system) we have a unique character skin feature that allows members to select the character they are posting as. For new members we have the Beginhill Training Center, and the Joining Board to help them get up to speed in the MRC faster.
