I got promoted!!!!
I am now the Lead Shift Supervisor, which means I am now the Day Shift Supervisor. My new work schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am - 3pm. I start on the new shift tomorrow. Until my replacement is hired, I'll have to work the occassional Saturday but that's cool 'cause I could use the overtime.
This means that I won't be able to post from work anymore, though. I'll be too busy and with my Manager on site... well, you get the idea.
So the posting marathons are gonna have to end. I'll still be posting on a very regular schedule. But I won't be lingering or lurking on the boards for hours every day anymore.

This makes me and Bleu very happy. We've never been on the same schedule, not since we got married. Now we both have the weekends off and will be getting home within hours of each other during the weekdays.

Congrats on the promotion man!
Glad to hear your schedule's more organized than before, and I'm really, really hoping that the next step has you covering lesser distances to and from work everyday. If that hasn't been fixed already, anyways.
I'm sorry about one thing, though, and that's the (decidedly) bad timing on my part at posting this.
Cheers!

I GOT VIRUSED!!!!!!
My home PC got infected with that @$%#ing Antivirus XP 2008 crap. My cousin (Bless him) has his own IT business and is gonna fix it for me but I can't get it to him until Tuesday. So, until I get it back (hopefully by Thursday or Friday), I'll either be posting from work (sparse time) or from my laptop (a real pain the ass).
Just an FYI.

I want to thank Kosh from the bottom of my heart.
I was going to have to spend $100 to fix my computer and I was gonna be without for about three days or so. But he sent me a link to a program that fixed it.
Thanks, Kosh. You're the man.

From my time working on computers as of late, these are some of the tools that I have used to help get rid of virii and MalWare. List is in no particular order...
MalWareBytes
AdAware
Spybot Search and Destroy
CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) - caution on selecting all the checkboxes
Autoruns - be careful with this one
Hijack This - be careful with this one
All have their ups and downs. Some are better than others, while some will catch things that the others won't. Most important - some crap out there will stop some anti-malware/virus programs due to how tricky they are.
Now these are just tools to clean a computer, I still highly recommend getting a paid copy of an anti-virus software such as Norton/Symantec or Macafee. Not to mention turning your firewall on (for Windows XP +) and download your windows updates on schedule (sometimes the malwre/virus disrupts this, and you'll need to search Microsoft on the appropriate solution).

We had a great tme, once we got there.
They changed our flights around so we ended up with an 8 hour layover in Detroit (that really sucked) but I bought a new hoodie jacket there (which is pretty cool) but it was still an 8 hour layover (did I mention how much that sucked?). But, once we got there, it was awesome.
The first couple of days were low key, visiting cousins and the like. Then we drove from Kentucky to Tennessee to go stay up in the mountains in a really awesome cabin. I mean 100% pure awesome. Bleu and I were in the loft, her sister and mother were on the main level, and there was a pool table in the furnished basement. Oh, and there was a hottub.
100% pure awesome.
And there were bears. Seriously. No joke. There were bears in the woods and one of them pooped on our driveway. Just to let us know he was there. So, every night, when we got back to the cabin, we were all watching to make sure Smoky wasn't lingering in the bushes.
But it was fun.
We saw some really cool shows in town, ate too much southern food (everything was deep fried or dipped in chocolate. my diet is ruined). And wrapped up our vacation with a visit to my sister-in-law's college, Fisk University. Beautiful campus but not really worth the five hour drive to get there and the three hour drive to get home.
The flight home was okay and it feels great to be in my own bed again. But I am sure gonna miss that cabin.
