I can't believe it's been almost a year already!
I joined November 13th of 2000. My first post was "MRC's next ace pilot!" and seven minutes later Lanji responded with "Hmm.. Well at least you'll have a chance at being the most 'ego-driven' cadet this year so far... ^_~ (j/k)"
I had just finished watching Robotech for the first time in roughly 12 years or so and was charged to keep that feeling alive. I was so psyched and ready to play that night. Granted, as we all know, it took a week to make the character, , but I've been loving it ever since.
It's been a great first year. Thankyou to all of the GMs and players that I've had contact with both IC and OOC'ly. I'm looking forward to many more years of social and rp interaction with everyone. I hope you have all enjoyed this past year as much as I have.

Our culture's mythology ordains us rulers of the universe...what if we're just here to lead by example?

DAMN! Knew I forgot something. Well, for me its a Year and 7 days that I've been here (and I Still haven't remembered out How I thought this name up )
Anyway, in this year here I've learned something very important: Vodka in all forms is VERY bad for my system
Oh yeah, and give me a sec all and I'll fish out the thread of Green Team's Legendary first sim....
*starts fishing*

I appologize from resurrecting such an old thread but there is a purpose.
My wife snidely asked how many days it's been since the award ceremony this evening. She remembered me dragging her over to a friend's house because he had a DSL connection and I had huge expectations for the posting turn out for that event. My wife was surprised when I told her that the award's ceremony began in January 2002, 4 years ago this month. She then laughed and asked how come I still do this when I told her that only 6 days in game time had passed since then. I replied that although my life is drastically different today than it was 5+ years ago when I started playing Bishop, despite Halo 2 being graphically more pleasing than the MRC, beyond the fact that I find it hard enough to spend time with my 2 babies, I still love writing, Macross, and the people that join me in doing it.
So thank you to those individuals that keep me coming back for more, I hope you know who you are. To the rest, I hope you can find something similar here. It's truely a wonderful opportunity if you let it be
