If Macross II is OK to go on then... all ARMD class ships have a Macross Cannon (or part of one, at least) built in.

Those big pyramid shapes at the rear back are fuel tanks for the Valkyries. Pretty sure the captain doesn't want to smear something so explosive over the countryside during touchdown.

Re: Earthquake In Osaka

Thanks guys.

Luckily, our house/family weathered it well. However, a few houses/apartments in the neighbourhood were damaged. Some of the older ones were condemned, and are in the process of being torn down.

Sadly, there was a massive rain fall over the weekend (the revenge of rainy season?) with ...

Earthquake In Osaka

It sucks living close to the epicenter of an earthquake. Especially one that's 6.1 M! :(
All that stuff about it that you may be seeing on the news is just across the river.

Re: Frightening Movie Suggestions

No, man, that is the wrong kind of scary. I am looking for the horrible, do-anything-to-avoid-watching movies.

Ahh... OK, anything directed by Michael Bay.

Recently, "Thermae Romae" and its sequel have been showing up far often then I'd like on the local movie specialty channels. I can't quite ...

Re: Frightening Movie Suggestions

Recently I watched "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (original) on the movie specialty channel. It was much, MUCH better than I thought it would be. It may be more than 40 years old, but... wow!
(Long story short, because the Japanese title is nothing like the English one, I didn't know I was watching it ...

As good an idea as this is, there is one big side effect: if you're not a member of those games, then this site starts to look really quiet (I only see the following games: Exodus, Dark Elven Wars, The Sage's Vault, and The Veil).

May I humbly suggest that there be a list of what games are ...

I know some of us have some not-too-shabby wiki-coding skills. We should dust them off, and contribute to the importing of the html version of the site to the wiki version.

Frontiers of MACROSS (25th anniversary of Macross series)

The latest issue of Newtype has two articles on the Frontiers of MACROSS. I've started a translation of it here: http://www.macrossroleplay.org/forums/index.php?topic=1422.msg17315

There are also pictures of the newest VF, the VF-25 and some of the characters of the new series.

I agree with Mr.F. The original, perhaps because of all it's warts and hairs, is charming in it's unique way. The story itself was at times new and interesting, and almost always Star Wars. I found the CG that they included in the original much easier on the eyes, and blended quite well with the ...

Oh! I think I missed saying that! For anyone travelling to Japan:

Don't expect anything. If you expect something, you will be disappointed. If you don't expect anything, you will be suprised, and blown away.
