VF/B-22a Jagdvogel II

Rough notes:

Based off of Hobby Japan model pictures.
  • Two-man cockpit.
  • Elongated airframe with a large triangle shaped wing.
  • Weapons
    • 2 gun pods - fire-linkable and mainly used for ground/spaceship heavy strafing attacks, secondary purpose is AA.
    • 2 dorsal mounted rear-facing AA lasers - shooting down missiles.
    • 2 engine nacelle front and rear firing beam cannons - mainly for anti-aircraft attacks.
    • Internal dorsal missile launchers (same as YF-21 and VF-22.) - dogfight missiles.
    • Internal weapons pallets. Equivalent of 20 (?!?) hardpoints - used mainly for tactical assaults from a signifigant range.

Speculation:
  • Not transformable (assuming that it is transformable is also speculation.)
  • Large internal bomb bay load.
  • Active and Passive Stealth(y).
  • Mission: The UNG’s SB-10 & 2 VF-22 escort mission plan isn’t panning out. The VF-22 is too expensive and has been reserved only for SF use. The new, long-range stealthy bombing mission plan is to have a single VF/B-22a with the RIO controlling 2 Ghost X-9s.
  • The VF/B-22a produced on the ThreeStars have an internal micro-fold booster. (Pure speculation, but if it's non-transformable, then there is an excess of room internally. In addition, internally stored fold boosters means that the bomber can fold in and fold out, without fear of an externally mounted fold booster ruins its stealthy profile.
