Notes:

 • Until a calendar of the year 2049 and 2050 is produced, there will be some discrepancies with dates.
 • Weeks are organized based on the 1st day being the 1st day of a week – in other words, the weeks do not correspond with how hey would appear on a calendar.
 • Unspecified events are placed roughly within the part of the week preceding specified events that occur after them.

2047

January to December

Unspecified Late 2047
The VMFA-235 Death Angels were formed under the direction of Lt. Colonel Jack Anderson, Air Group Commander, 1st MEU, Macross 15 fleet. Lt. Col. Anderson selected the quasi-famous Major Toni Lombardi to lead the group. The 1st MEU was stationed on the UNS Vigilance, a Guantanamo class carrier.

Unspecified
The Death Angel's first action was during a dinner of important dignitaries on the newly commissioned Vigilance. A group of Varauta terrorists seized the ship. The Angels fought their way off the ship to go get help. Toni’s long time best friend and then XO, Cpt. Maxwell Xenomopholis (Max Xeno,) was killed in the process. The Angels were able to notify the rest of the Macross 15 fleet about the situation, and mount a rescue effort. The Death Angels, along with several other Battle 15 squadrons, fought their way back through the Vigilance and now Varauta’s defenses and retook the ship with minimal casualties to the hostages. Maj. Lombardi was later criticized by some for having left the ship than keeping eyes on the situation and waiting for either an opportunity to mount a rescue or for help to arrive.

Unspecified
The Death Angels' Maj. Lombardi concocted a scheme to use one of the spare bays and some specially acquired equipment to form a microbrewery. The Death Angels as well as performing their duties as Marine Aviators, were also on a mission to make ‘Roughneck Red’ the official beer of the Macross 15 fleet. The Marines saw little action as most missions were given to the Spacy ships in picket defence actions. The Vigilance kept a very close eye on City 15.

Unspecified
The 1st MEU was rotated back to Earth with the 13th MEU being rotated into its place on the UNS Peleliu. The Death Angels stayed. Now Colonel Anderson took command of the MEU 13 and the newly promoted Lt. Col. Toni Lombardi took command of the 7th Marine Air Group in the MEU 13. Several squadrons were added, including the famous VMA-214 Black Sheep, VMRF-1 Wolf, and a detachment of the VMAQ-5 FoxFire.

2048

January to May

Unspecified
The first mission for the newly transferred Black Omens was a rescue mission designed to recover pilots of M15's Heartbreaker Squadron who had been given orders to fold to a asteroid moon orbiting the desert world of Hydra. The Heartbreakers were ordered to escort a troopship by a rogue branch (or an unknown) intelligence unit of the United Nations Government. Unknown to the Heartbreakers, their unit as well as the loaded troopship were considered to be fully expendable in order to confirm the presence of a powerful Protodevlin. The Protodevlin was indeed present and destroyed the troopship outright killing several UNS pilots including the Black Omens Executive officer, Captain Damen Forrest. Varuta forces were destroyed and the asteroid, a hollowed out manufacturing facility and base were destroyed by application of Planet Buster thermonuclear warheads carried by the VF-22's of the elite squadron.

June

June 9, 2048
The worlds of Colonial Mankind were rocked by the tragic death of the controversial United Nations Senator, Ian Finn. Senator Finn, long opposed to the funding and resources necessary for the mega-projects undertaken by the UN Space Corp, especially Project Outbound, mankind's multiple colonization mission, the latest and largest of which has been designated as "Fifteen" or "XV" as some call it. Senator Finn and his staff had scheduled a fact-finding trip to M15/C15 with the intent of exposing some of the cost over runs to the Senate oversight committee. Senator Finn was part of a growing minority who shared the belief that the amount of military hardware accompanying the colony mission was unnecessary and bordered on negligent when compared with leaving those squadrons behind to defend Earth. Excessive when considering the growing number of Zentraedi and Meltrandi hybrids now serving though out the Fleet.

July to December

Unspecified Late 2048
The Death Angels and MEU-13 came into their own during the expedition to the barren world of Sigma Epsilon V. The M15 fleet had been asked by Colonization Command to divert to the world to investigate why the UN outpost there had lost contact. They found it to be void of any life or traces of what might have removed all the personnel there. They did discover though it was a trap by Anti-UN forces to lure they fleet in and destroy it with surface based weaponry. The quick acting air ground task force was able to neutralize the threat to the fleet and hold out until reinforcements could arrive from The Battle 15. The Marines took heavy casualties on the ground and in the air, but succeeded in protecting the fleet.

Unspecified
An emergency call from the Macross-15 Battle Carrier brings a halt to the Omen's satellite and probe deployment before the network has been set up. The emergency is due to a Varuta Carrier attacking the M-15 fleet and inflicting heavy casualties amongst the UNS defenders. The Black Omens and Oracle fold back to the fleet and launch a devastating attack on the Varuta Carrier immediately upon defold. Using heavy anti-ship ordnance, including tactical nukes, plasma warheads and proton torpedo, the Varuta carrier is critically damaged, losing is communications, sensors and full use of its massive engines. The Varuta Carrier commanded by the Warlord Caine, under the guidance of the Neo-Varuta clone, Riono escape by using an emergency fold. Lt. Daniel Henwood maneuvers his VF-22 to be caught by the Varuta fold and is taken with the ship undetected. During this attack on M15's forces, a single pilot from Heartbreaker squadron, a Sergeant Ayax Savage is taken prisoner by the Varuta.

Unspecified
Operation Forge
While the Varuta Carrier Khan was attacked by the combined elements of M15 and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Units, the Black Omens outfitted in Power Armour penetrated the Khan and succeeded in rescuing and recovering the Heartbreaker pilot who had been scheduled to be given to the Varuta Governor, a Governor who was believed to be at the recently captured UN Colony on the planet Eden. They narrowly missed capturing the warlord Riono, but managed to Capture Commander Caine, an aide to Riono.

Unspecified
Heartbreakers are decimated during an engagement with Zentraedi. The unit is restructured around the few survivors and renamed the Cobras.

2049

January to October

Unspecified, Early 2049
The 13th MEU was recalled to participate in the largest engagement since SWI, the recapture of Planet Eden from the Varauta forces. Despite the size of the engagement and months of planning and preparation, it was over within a week. The Death Angels suffered heavy casualties during the engagement.

Unspecified, Early 2049
The M-15 fleet docks at New Patagonia for general maintenance and repairs. The space docks come under attack by the remnants of Varauta forces they have been battling for months. The Varauta are defeated, but both the space docks and the fleet suffer heavy damage.

Unspecified, Fall 2049
Starfighters reformed to act as forward scout for a super-long-distance colony fleet.

November

Early November 2049
The fleet having been recently repaired leaves the safety of the space docks orbiting the colony of New Patagonia to continue its mission to colonize a world capable of supporting human life. Their destination sector M183-92. The sector is believed to contain the ruins of several abandoned Protoculture colonies. The nearest United Nations Government worlds are small and unimportant. The fleet will mainly be on its own.

Late November 2049
The Macross-15 Fleet arrives at their first planet in sector M183-92. The planet Avarmore VII is a frigid world. Crippled on its icy surface is the Cysgld, a Zentradi warship. After an initial fight a cease-fire is ordered and peace is negotiated between the Cysgld and the fleet. The crew of the Cysgld share valuable information about the sector to the Macross-15 fleet including the news that several Zentradi warlords are fighting for control of the sector. The largest and strongest of the warlords is Commander Renrak leader of the 3568th Renrak Fleet.

December

Unspecified December 2049
Hollywood Knights assembled under Captain Mifune and are assigned to the M-15 fleet.

Mid December 2049
During the repair work on the Cysgld the fleet is paid a brief visit by another Zentradi ship which folded away soon after it arrived and by a small Meltrandi fleet which takes the time to deploy some of their Quadlunn-Rau units before they fold away as well.

Tuesday, December 7, 2049
The Cobras are assigned to scout the strength of nearby Zentraedi forces. The unit suffers heavy casualties and their carrier is destroyed. The survivors are stranded on a world named Purgatory.

Wednesday, December 29, 2049
First Battle of Teradai IV
The Macross-15 fleet continues its investigation of the sector by folding to the planet of Teradai IV. The planet contains Protoculture ruins and it is the location of the fleet’s first battle with elements from the 3568th Renrak Fleet. Both sides fight for control of the planet.
Half of the Starfighters are wiped out in the First Battle of Teradai IV.

Tuesday, January 18, 2050
Somehow enemy forces managed to track down all members of the Falcons and Owls and capture them, with one exception. They were then 'processed'. Processing converted all of the pilots into obedient zombies slaves. While they were aware of their surroundings, they had no ability, or even desire, to do anything other than what they were told. Perhaps the worst part of this incident is their betrayal at the hands of Colonel Yomioka.

February

First Week

Wednesday, February 2, 2050
Death Angels arrive near the core of the UNG territories.

Thursday, February 3, 2050
Death Angels were dispatched to perform a Recon mission at the Fordast System. They discover an old Protoculture Domed City. As they approach the domed city, a Zentraedi Scout ship appears in orbit and begins the systematic destruction of the city.

Friday, February 4, 2050
(Early Early Morning hours) The Death Angels flee the Fordast system and return to the UNS Argo; upon arrival they receive new transfers to the squadron. Politically, the most important transfer is a member of the Royal Marines. A small detachment of the Death Angels is dispatched to do a top secret and high importance reconnaissance of the planet Fordast. Upon returning to the planet, it is discovered that the Protoculture ruins present there were completely destroyed AND that there was evidence of a downed or crashed Inspection Army ship. However that ship has also been completely destroyed by the Zentraedi presence that had forced the Death Angels from that system.
(Early Morning) The remaining Death Angels were immediately dispatched to intercept and deal with a group of Space Pirates that have been stealing from both military and civilian freighters passing through the outskirts of the Charest star system. During the operation, senior members of the Death Angels were taken prisoner. The mission of the Death Angel’s changed as they learned the whereabouts of the Space Pirates home base from a captured Space Pirate. The Death Angels immediately fold to the Space Pirate’s home base and begin an intelligence gathering and potential rescue operation for their captured squad-mates.
(Late Afternoon) Commodore Yoshida, who has been instrumental in arranging the joint operations between the UNSMC and the UNSRMC, requested backup from the UNS to aid the Death Angels. When the back up arrived in orbit, the lead ship, a Guantanamo class Stealth Carrier named ‘Rainbow Warrior II’, is sunk by some type of seemingly unstoppable energy based weapon that the Pirates possess. Some 99.999% of its personnel and aerospace vehicle compliment are destroyed. The survivors of the ‘Rainbow Warrior II’, notably squad members of the ‘Zero-Gs’, ‘Archers’ and ‘Rain Dancers’ formed up on a sole resupply shuttle that was dispatched from the ‘Rainbow Warrior II’ moments before it’s destruction; to confirm that it’s cargo of VF-19s makes it to the Death Angels on the planet of the Space Pirates. During reentry, the survivors broke into two groups, one of which attacked the terraforming tower with near complete losses to the group. The Death Angels, having been separated into two Recon Teams, had entered into firefights with the Space Pirates. One team was nearly completely wiped out by Space Pirate patrols that they ran into in the canyons surrounding the terraforming tower. The other team managed to sneak into the Pirates’ base, a renovated terraforming tower, and located two of the squad that were previously taken prisoner. The Space Pirates activated a self-destruct device that destroyed the top two levels of the terraforming tower moments after they and a contingent of Anti-UN fled the area.

Saturday, February 5, 2050
(Mid-day) The Death Angels and the three attached squads with them met Commander Yoshimoto, who merged them together under the banner ‘Zero-Gs’. He also revealed that Captain Leiagh Moss is key to an UNS Intelligence investigation into a mole in the MEU-13.

Second Week

Wednesday, February 9th, 2050
Death Angels - Captain Vahn Kazarus was found in the basement of the ruined and abandoned terraforming tower. He was transferred to a hospital ship that recently arrived in orbit.

Friday, February 11th, 2050
The Zero-Gs (Death Angels) met Commander Yoshimoto for a second time and gave a briefing for their mission to Petite Cola Ad Colony #34 Colony. The mission: determine if the continuing threat of raids by an unknown party, or parties, on PCAC #34 warrants and validates the colony’s request to greatly expand it’s Colony Defense Forces. CDF that were limited in size due to UNG laws that strictly applies to all colonies within UNG territory, even if those colonies are not part of the UNG.

Saturday, February 12th, 2050
The mission to PCAC #34 proceeded normally, until a number of concurrent events took place. First, Lieutenants Kamil and Lexington were arrested for murder by the PCAC #34’s Capital City’s Police. Shortly thereafter, they were released into the custody of the UN Embassy in K’kap (the Capital City) after secret talks between the colony governor, Laco Si’pep, and the UN Ambassador, Ichigo Sherbet. After investigating a clearing with mysterious footprints, the group of Death Angels assigned to investigate the opposite side of the planet ran into serious trouble when their VFs and the CDF base they had parked at were mercilessly and viciously attacked by an unknown force. Virtually at the same time, the UN Airstrip and the remaining Death Angels were attacked by another unknown force. The entire squadron was grounded, either due to damage to their VFs or by having their flight status revoked by the CDF and the colony government. Within minutes, emergency UNS forces folded into orbit, via the stealth Cruisers UNS Apollo and UNS Mercury, and made planet-fall to render assistance to the UNS/UNSMC forces present, the CDF and the colony government. The reception by the colony government was a mix of gratitude and disdain.

Monday, February 14, 2050
Valentine’s Day.
UNS Centaur arrives at New Caladonia. The Centaur is attacked by anti-UN forces. The City Busters, Golden Dragons, and Unicorns join forces to defend against the attack.
The Zero-Gs/Death Angels and their VFs, both damaged and undamaged, returned to LV-426 via the UNS Apollo. Upon transferring back to the UNS Argo, they came face to face with the mole that had been feeding UNG secrets to the Sultan’s Space Pirates. During the ensuing melee of confusion, the mole, UNS Lt. JG Clive BARCALOWE, stole a Star Goose space shuttle and made his escape.
The Death Angels/Zero-Gs were immediately sequestered and questioned by the UNG, UNS and UNSM Commanders on the UNS Argo – the questions focused on the mission to PCAC #34, the UNS mole and ongoing strife and difficulty between the UNG and the colonists of Britannia. During this time, new fighters were issued and damaged ones were repaired as much as possible.

Third Week

Tuesday, February 15th, 2050
The Marines and the UNS pilots of the Death Angels were segregated and given separate briefings and missions. The UNSM flights were informed that the shuttle UNS Lt. JG Clive BARCALOWE stole was seen arriving at an orbital city named ‘Nam in the Mekong system. The Marines were immediately dispatched to investigate and find Barcalowe.
The UNS flight, in addition to a large number of Destroids and soldiers from the small army aboard the UNS Argo, were transferred to LV-426. The UNSM Army went directly to the terraforming tower, to act as a corps of army engineers for the pending arrival of two Three Star Factory ships. The UNS flight were ordered to take a circuitous route to the terraforming tower. After a flight over the polar icecaps, where rapidly growing blooms of algae were observed, the flight was ordered to investigate a reflection observable from orbit. Upon investigating, the flight discovered the cause – an almost completely buried spaceship! Investigating inside the remains of the ship, the UNS flight came face to face with a creature, apparently abandoned in a makeshift hospital observation bed. The flight had no recourse but to kill the creature after it wrenched the gun pod out of the flights 2nd in command. The flight’s 2nd in command mistakenly attempted to cut her gun pod free from the creatures death grip by using her head laser. The creature’s blood, composed of reactant fuel, immediately exploded into a nuclear fire. All of the flight’s VFs were either partially or completely damaged, the CO of the flight was demoted and a large portion of the desert collapsed, burying what little remained of the creature.
The Marine flights met with little success as well. Their target successfully fled ‘Nam and they gave chase, only to come face to face with 3 Black Sambas. The Black Sambas killed two Marines and sliced the rest of the squad to shreds, all in a few blinks of an eye and before retreating via a spacefold.

Tuesday, February 16th
The combined Death Angel squadron is sent on a weeklong mission to El Dante in the El Dorado system. The target: a chemical weapons plant that has a weekly visit from a ship matching the Space Pirates Transport’s description. They make a brief stopover on the UNS Oh-mu, Sentinel Class Stealth Scout Ship.

Wednesday, February 17th, 2050
The UNS Argo relocates from the orbit of LV-426 to begin preparations for a small UNSMC invasion/strike against ‘the free colony' of Hasbron. The invasion is to commence during the following week.
Death Angels arrive on El Dante.

Thursday, February 18th, 2050
The Golden Dragons and Unicorns attend a reception in their honor on New Caladonia. During the ceremony, members of the von Battenburg military pick a fight with the Spacy pilots, and the body of James Fokker is discovered in the fountain in the gardens.

Monday, February 21st, 2050
UNS decides to resurrect the carrier name ‘Rainbow Warrior’ as one of the current crop of Uraga Class Escort Battle Carriers being built in the shipyards in the Apollo Moon Base. Squadrons assigned to the Rainbow Warrior II are also resurrected at the same time.
The UNSM invasion of Hasbron was a failure. The real purpose of the mission was to gather information to the location of the Anti-UN's hidden mecha plant. The UNSM called off the invasion when Marines were taken hostage and Anti-UN reinforcements arrived. The Roughnecks leave to assault the Anti-UN mecha plant.

Fourth Week

Unspecified, Beginning of Fourth Week of February, 2050
Roughnecks destroy the Anti-UN mecha planet on the colony of New Essex with little opposition. They also apparently killed a few hundred disaster-victims as well.

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2050
Death Angels successfully destroy the chemical weapons plant and Transport ship on El Dante. They quickly return to the UNS Argo, in orbit of LV-426. They get four days leave.

Thursday, February 24, 2050
UNS Central Command completes the task of scouring available and soon to be graduating VF trained pilots and personnel to fill the Rainbow Warrior III. Transfer orders are sent out to the fleet.

Sunday, February 27th, 2050
Death Angels return to active duty – mostly space patrols in orbit of LV-426.

March

First Week

Tuesday, March 1st, 2050
The Roughnecks arrive on the out post at Janix II. In an Anti-UN raid, Governor General M.J. is assassinated. The colony planet Eskar III is taken by a combined army of the region's Anti-UN forces (the People’s Republic Army), mercenaries and the recently enlarged CDF of Thirty-Four. (Formerly known as Petite Cola Ad Colony #34.)

Second Week

Third Week

Friday March 18th, 2005
After spending weeks doing manual labor around the enemy base, the survivors of the Falcons and Owls are loaded up for their First Strike mission. Unaware of the mission parameters, the pilots spend the entitre fold trip strapped into their fighters.

Fourth Week

Tuesday, March 22, 2050
Upon arriving at their assigned ship, the Rainbow Warrior III, the new pilots assigned to the Archers were sent out for a training patrol. Almost immediately after take off, two VF-19s crashed into the moon’s surface (where the Rainbow Warrior III was in dry dock being finished.) The crash resulted in one fatality and one pilot being put into critical condition. In addition, two pilots were not able to launch - one had a malfunction in her VF and the other, due to personal neglect, arrived late and was sent for disciplinary action. The resultant discipline was that the pilot was removed from the flight roster and transferred off of the Rainbow Warrior III.
While the investigation into the tragic first outing of the Archers continues, Major Kim was assigned to oversee the continued training of the Archers into a viable and elite VF team. Team work and cooperation begins to grow amongst the team in addition to resentment towards the UNS brass and Major Kim. Training is as vigorous, insightful and challenging, as it is exhausting. Concurrently, the Rainbow Warrior III launched from the Apollo Moon Base’s shipyards and successfully performed a test flight around the moon. The ship then gracefully joined the Earth Defense Force by parking itself in Earth orbit amidst a swarm of other warships and cargo transports. Almost immediately, all of the remaining VFs, pilots, crew, supplies and munitions began being transferred to the Rainbow Warrior III.

Friday, March 25th, 2050
Starting with a briefing at 05:15 hours, the Archers were assigned the tedious job of assisting in the transfer of supplies, munitions, equipment and additional vehicles to the Rainbow Warrior III. After, they embarked on a training mission that has the team pitted against itself in a capture the flag, paintball game. During the game, the UNS Archer, a Bolognese Frigate, defolded and rammed the asteroid that the squad was ‘gaming’ at. The squad was immediately ordered to investigate the heavily damaged frigate. In the process, they discovered that it had been involved in a serious battle and the enemy had attempted to seize control of the ship. The Captain of the Archer had fought them off, after a lot of crew casualties, by blowing some hatches and sucking the atmosphere out of the ship.
The Rainbow Warrior III folded to White Flora Satellite City, in Jupiter’s orbit during the night.

Saturday, March 26th, 2050
At the 07:15 briefing, the squad learned that the UNS Archer was one of the ships of M15 fleet and that about 3 weeks ago the fleet was attacked; current status of the fleet: unknown. The CAG also briefly mentioned the ‘rally cry’ that the attackers on the M15 fleet broadcast after its destruction – in addition to mysterious ship and fleet disappearances amongst the UNG forces. Most importantly, the CAG mentioned a rumored rogue fleet in the 7th Sector – exactly where the Archers, Rainbow Warrior III and 13th Galaxy Patrol were embarking to!
The Archers then received a briefing of their first mission: investigate a mysterious force of VFs that attacked a mining operation in the Momoyama System.

Late March 2050
Rainbow Warrior II assigned to 13th Galaxy Patrol fleet.

April
