Lost fans

Postby araruin » Fri May 19, 2006 2:59 pm

Anyone here a Lost fan? If so, have you noticed the commercials for the Hanso foundation? They give you a website. http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/

Good luck. I got into the database, but I really couldn't make sense of any of it. It's likely yet another way to screw with out heads.

>< My head hurts just looking at the compass at the beginning...

And finally got to that.

Instead of going to the database, I was sent to another site.

But, I think that basically meant I was out of the game...

Is this a game? lol

And don't forget this link http://www.thehansofoundation.org/

Two fake commercials, two websites.

Is this a real company? Or just some strange joke?

I mean the Hanso foundation...

Fictional company that plays a critical role in the "Lost Mythology".

Awe, Well I thought it was the Dharma Initiative. Or, maybe that is simply the small experimental group that they had on that island in particular.

I hate them. :) The sublyminal site gave me a code and linked me to the Hanso site. I have no idea what to do with the code though. The compass site also links to the Hanso site when you go through the database index.

Just say you are one of the bad ones, and you automatically go to the good site. Or was it say you are a good one. >< I forget.

Code: Heir Apprentance? No clue what so ever.

Unless the letters are a jumble ><

It's like looking at an covered up Umbrella Corporation homepage. Genetherapy? Mental Health? Life Extension Project?? :o
And the Bios just gave me the creeps when they only showed an badly taken photo of the CEO blending in the darkness at the office.

Good thing this page is a fake, otherwise I would stock up with shotgun rounds, and a chainsaw. :D

When you try to sign up for the mailing list on the Hanso site, it gives the appearance of the site "getting Phreaked." A user named persephone asks you a secret password, and if you get it wrong, she tells you to call the call center in the TV ad section, which is a link I can't find. Suggestions?

I used my code there, and I also got the message to call the call center, but no luck finding it. I swear the music and sound effects are from a game that I've played before, but I just can't place it. This is going to drive me crazy.

heh, I had to check it out.. It's rather interesting, though finding the password is proving difficult.

The code I read was Heir Apparent. *shrug* No idea where it's used, though.

Would be funny if it meant who recieved a parent, or who became a parent in the show. Heir a-parent

>< But I have no clue what to do with it.

Does the phrase "This is not a game" mean anything to you?

If not you guys (especially those in the US) are in for a real ride. Do some searching on "immersive games" and/or "the Beast". A very interesting and somewhat scary fenomenon.

Guess what. the website for the Hanso Foundation means nothing if you don't log in first.

Sign up to receive the newsletter. It doesn't matter what screenname you use. When Persephone asks for a password, use 'breaking strain'. You'll now be logged into the site and can enjoy some real fun tidbits.

Send Joop some mail. It doesn't matter what you say, as long as you hit the send button.

The date under Alver Hanso's picture is now a hotlink.

'Heir Apparent' is the password for Hug McIntyre's bio.

'The Mouthpiece' is the password for Thomas Mittlewerk's bio.

I haven't verified it yet, but you can call the number advertised on the commercials: 800 HANSOORG. I've been told that if you select option 4 you can listen to Peter Thompson's voicemail.

Have fun. Apparently they continue updating the site, so keep checking it out.

'DIFFFTR751' is supposedly another password, but I'm not sure what to do with it yet.
