Star Trek

Postby araruin » Tue May 05, 2009 8:12 pm

There are no words to describe the awesomeness that is Star Trek. It was filled with great characters, story, and action. There were also plenty of funny moments, but not in the slapstick manner that usually detracts from the seriousness of a film. I can once again say that I am a Star Trek fan.

They also paved the way for many new movies without threatening any of what has come before.

It doesn't, but I have a few ins. I watched Wolverine a day early, and I saw Watchmen nearly a week early.

Yep, saw it, loved it.

The characters are spot on, each of them bringing back to life the original crew faithfully and in a good way. The story is well done and the effects are amazing but one of the best things about it is the humour. There was more jokes and one liners in it that had be laughing than some comedies I’ve seen recently but at the same time it never lost track of the story or tone of the film.

Very good all round.

"Ya' Green-blooded Hobgoblin.."

My favorite line of the whole film.

Also Simon Pegg made an awesome Scotty :)

I went to go see it with Bleu and one of my co-workers and his wife. It was, without a doubt, 100% Pure Awesome injected straight into my eyeballs. Loved it.

I have to see it again.

It was great! With the exception of 2 or 3 continuity errors (it's Star Trek, so of course they're there ) I only had one complaint: that I have to wait an unknown amount of time for a sequel (I want more Damnit!!^_^).

It was awesome! I saw a *cough* boot leg copy then ran out and watched it in the theater the following weekend! I loved it!
